Music Ministry
The Music Ministry’s mission is to encourage full, active and conscience participation in liturgy using great music of all styles and for all ages. Assembly participation enhances and uplifts our prayer at Mass. We strive to achieve this using as many people from our Parish and School as possible.
Music Ministry Opportunities
Membership is open to anybody in 9th grade and up. Rehearsals are held Thursdays at 7pm, and we sing every weekend primarily at the 10:30 Mass, but rotate occasionally to other Masses. The Choir sings our Annual Parish Christmas Concert Celebration with full orchestra.
St. Pius X School Choir
Our School Choir has experience outstanding growth over the past few years. Choir rehearses during the school day and is open to students in grades 3 – 8. The School Choir sings for all School Masses, approximately 2 weekend Masses per month, and is also part of the Christmas Concert with orchestra.
St. Pius X School Handbell Choir
Handbell Choir is open to students in grades 6 – 8 and rehearses during school. Handbell Choir plays at school Masses, occasional weekend Masses, and the Parish Christmas Concert.
Budding Bells
Budding Bells is a beginner Handbell Choir for our school students in grade 5. When they are ready they ring at a variety of Masses, and the Christmas Concert.
