November 2019
Our new organ has arrived! On November 25, 2019, the team from Peragallo Organ Company began the installation process. In just a few days, the case was built in the church and the console, pipes, and electronic components were installed. Over the next few weeks, the final steps of installation will be completed - including voicing and tuning - as we expect to hear the instrument for the first time on Christmas Eve.
Financially, the campaign has been extremely sucessful and we are nearing the goal. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed to this campaign! With continued support, we will reach the goal by the end of the calendar year. History of the Project
Over the past several years, our organ has been in a state of electronic decline. It became less and less reliable until June 2018 when it could no longer be played. As we look toward the future, we have researched a variety of options for our parish - digital organs, virtual organs, and pipe organs. Of all the research we did and the proposals we received, the Peragallo Organ Company of Paterson, NJ has given us the best plan for the future of our parish. Their plan is for a hybrid option - part pipe and part digital - that allows for a 21st Century solution. In this way, we will receive some of the benefits of a pipe organ - air flowing through pipes, just like air flowing through our bodies when we sing - but with the rest of the sound palette filled out with digital stops.

Funding the Project
At the time of the project announcement, March 2019, we started already at more than 50% of the goal through the generous bequest of two parishioners, Louis and Christine D'Ascenza, and the support of the Polish Community after the recent Polish Carneval Celebration. By August 2019, we were more than 90% of the way there! Thank you everyone for your generous support of this project!
