Kurt is a life-long parishioner at St. Pius X. He has served as the Youth Minister since August 1999. Over the last twelve years, he has coordinated volunteer trips which have served local organizations, including: Homeless Solutions Inc, the Eric Johnson House, Habitat for Humanity, Catholic Charities and the Felician sisters in Mount Arlington.
On a diocesan level, Kurt has served on a strategic planning committee for Morris Catholic High School, a committee for a diocesan retreat center at Bayley Ellard and several World Youth Day pilgrimage planning committees.
In the parish, he spends most of his efforts focused on retreat ministry with the Search and Antioch programs for high school aged Catholics.
He holds a Bachelor in Secondary Education from Villanova, a Masters in Educational Leadership from Seton Hall’s Catholic School Leadership Program, and a Masters of Letters from Drew University. Currently, Kurt is working on his dissertation at Drew University
Kurt is married to Jennifer, and they have two daughters. On most Sundays you can find Kurt meeting with families and arranging service trips in the narthex.
